The Couples Workshop
This much-appreciated seminar
will help you understand the agony and the ecstasy of living
together: What works and what doesn't!
Here are the topics we'll explore together:
- The basic challenge in any relationship: remaining separate
while remaining connected
- How other people affect our relationship: triangles and
how to navigate in them
- Five tension strategies that every successful relationship
needs
- Guarding against patterns: What happens when strategies
are over used?
- Being realistic in our expectations-of ourselves, of each
other, and of marriage!
Comments from our participants:
- "Real-life experiences
talked about; much food for thought!"
- "Great time to focus
and reflect - practical skills and insights"
- "This 'debunks"
the unreal societal expectations of what marriage is!"
- "Thought provoking
- a lot of great insights!"
- "I would strongly recommend
it to other couples who want to grow"
The workshop will be co-facilitated
by Frank and Sue Staropoli. The morning includes lecture,
large-group dialogue (for those who choose to comment, question,
etc.), and time for couples to be alone.
